What else?

ARE YOU REALLY HAVING A CHURCH WEDDING?

No. The beautiful Fitzrovia Chapel is a secular venue.  Originally housed within the Middlesex Hospital the chapel was never consecrated. It has always been open to anyone of any faith, or none.  The ceremony will be entirely non-religious.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Despite what the evidence may suggest, we are not having a 'Bet Lynch on acid' themed wedding.   If leopard print really is your thing feel free to indulge.  Otherwise, it's your choice of suits, boots, glad-rags and dancing shoes (no morning suits).

WHAT KIND OF FOOD WILL BE SERVED?

An informal, buffet BBQ-style meal will be served at the Stephen St Kitchen at c.5.30.  We will make sure there are vegetarian and gluten-free options available.  If you have any other dietary requirements, please let us know in advance.  It will be no problem at all to request an alternative.

WHAT ABOUT GIFTS?

We really don't need anything, but would love to have your company for as long as possible on the day.  Please buy yourself a taxi home or a hearty hotel breakfast instead of gifts.

ARE THERE RECOMMENDED HOTELS NEARBY?

There are plenty of hotel options nearby or a short tube/taxi journey away.  Fitzrovia has some very fancy - and pricey - accommodation within stumbling distance from the venues (Charlotte Street Hotel, The London Edition, the Sanderson).  Bloomsbury, just slightly to the east, has a mix of 'boutique' hotels, mid-range chains (Radisson, Thistle) and some more affordable B&B choices.  There is a Premier Inn 'Hub' a few minutes walk away and the Covent Garden Travelodge isn't too far.  For cheaper options further out, have a look at locations on the northern or central tube lines.  Both run all night through Tottenham Ct Road.
